Anyone who suffers from depression will probably know how a mind can swing from desolation to elation and back again. Over the years I have come to recognise the symptoms and see the downward slide coming, and for the mostpart I can fend it off, or at least diminish its impact. I suppose this song is about the conversation I have with myself. Though it's a happier song than that description suggests....
